Shift: Monday – Friday, with an on-call rota

Our client is looking for a dynamic and organised individual to join their freight and logistics team. This role focuses on export customs clearance and supporting the wider operations team to ensure smooth and compliant shipments. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Manage export customs clearances and related documentation

Process NCTS Transit T-Forms

Use industry-specific software such as Destin8, CDS, NCTS, CNS, Descartes

Assist with administrative tasks supporting the team

Participates in on-call duties, including weekday nights and one in four weekends

Support colleagues and learn other roles within the team
Key Requirements

Confident, approachable, and customer-focused

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in customs entries (considering applicants with no experience)

Desirable: Experience with Port Health, Licences, or ATA Carnets

Ability to evaluate, prioritise, and respond to changing workloads

Logical, methodical problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

IT literate and willing to learn new systems
