Geophysical Surveyor (Offshore)
We are currently supporting our valued client with the recruitment of up to two experienced and motivated Geophysical Surveyors for an upcoming offshore project in Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic marine campaign focused on high-quality geophysical data acquisition and potential UXO clearance support operations.
About the Role:
As a Geophysical Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of offshore survey operations within European nearshore zones. The project scope will primarily involve multi-beam and side scan sonar data acquisition, processing, and quality control, with the potential to support shallow foundation (SF) survey operations linked to UXO clearance activities.
You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, operational efficiency, and safe survey execution while working closely with vessel crew and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct geophysical survey operations including MBES and SSS data acquisition and QC

Operate and troubleshoot survey equipment and positioning systems

Perform real-time processing and ensure accuracy of survey deliverables

Support potential shallow foundation survey operations for UXO clearance

Maintain strong communication with offshore teams to meet project objectives

Proven experience as a geophysical surveyor in offshore environments

Ideally authorised to work within European 12NM zones

Previous involvement in UXO or shallow foundation survey campaigns

Strong hands-on technical aptitude for survey equipment setup and troubleshooting

Offshore certification and medicals valid for mobilisation
