Senior Bookings / Customer Services Representative
Location: Stallingborough
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00
About Our Client
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded shipping and freight forwarding company, specialising in direct services to Scandinavia and mainland Europe. They provide competitive, flexible, and customised transport and logistics solutions across land, sea, and air.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team in a Senior Bookings / Customer Services Representative role.
Role Description (depending on experience)

Take day-to-day leadership of the Bookings / Customer Service team

Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing bookings and handling enquiries

Take customer bookings and accurately create them within internal software systems

Liaise closely with transport and export planners to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery

Maintain high service standards and ensure customer expectations are consistently met
Requirements
-
4–5 years’ previous experience within a logistics or freight forwarding environment

Confident, approachable, and professional with excellent communication skills

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Customer-focused with a clear commitment to delivering excellent service

Strong decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate, prioritise, and adapt to changing workloads

Methodical and logical approach with strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to work independently in a time-critical environment and as part of a team

IT literate and confident using multiple systems

Willingness to learn other roles within the team to broaden skills and experience
